Six men have been arrested for allegedly stealing items from a home in Marystown that include shotguns and a guitar autographed by the rock band AC/DC.
By the time a complaint was filed with police on Aug. 15, the suspects had allegedly broke into the home at least six times over the course of a weeklong period. In addition to the autographed guitar and three shotguns, goods stolen from the home included a motorcycle, tools, and other personal items.
Most of the items reported stolen have since been recovered, excluding the autographed guitar.
The ages of the six suspects range from 17 to 41, and police expect to make more arrests as its investigation continues.
The accused face charges that include break and enter, break and enter to steal a firearm, possession of a firearm known to be stolen, trafficking in firearms, possession of property obtained by crime, and trafficking in property obtained by crime.
Four of the accused have been released from custody and will appear in court at later dates. One suspect has a bail hearing scheduled for Aug. 30, while another suspect was denied bail.
