St. John’s Regional Fire Department members responded this morning to a reported odour through the ventillation units at the Sun Sushi and Bubble Tea restaurant on the corner of Duckworth Street and King’s Road in downtown St. John’s.

Outlet and adjoining buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure. The street was blocked off from King’s Road to Holloway Street in both directions.

Propane experts were called to the scene to disconnect large propane tanks, but it was later determined they were not the souce of the problem.

why was the aforementioned comment ever approved - inappropriate - just someone trying to make a smartass stupid comment - no need for it. I submitted this - so hopefully the persons who approve comments don't approve silly comments - it is also somewhat defammatory.
