Drugs and weapons seized in Grand Falls-Windsor

A 56-year-old man from Grand Falls-Windsor is facing multiple charges following a police search that uncovered both drugs and firearms.

On Friday, the RCMP executed two search warrants on Whitmore Street in Grand Falls-Windsor - one on a residence and the other on a business property. The two locations were related to the one investigation. Police seized a quantity of a substance believed to be marijuana, marijuana plants, and several firearms.

The male was released to appear in court in November and will face charges of Production of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Prohibited Firearm, and Careless Use of a Firearm.

    Really, "Possession of a Prohibited Firearm, and Careless Use of a Firearm.". A have to ask the judge who let this guy out in the public domain again, "can we really trust him?" I suggest the majority of the population will say no. Shame on you and the laws you uphold. Then again, shame on us, the public. Its really up to us to have the laws changed. Rehabilitation does not work.
