A 23-year-old man from Humber Village near Corner Brook is facing drug-related charges after police seized cocaine, hashish and marijuana from a vehicle stopped during Operation Impact on Friday.
The RNC-RCMP Joint Forces Operation Street Level Drug Team, with assistance from RNC patrol services, stopped and searched the vehicle in Corner Brook.
Police officers seized what is believed to be 255 grams of uncut cocaine, 116 grams of hashish and 1,135 grams of marijuana.
A subsequent search at a home in Humber Village resulted in the seizure of additional drugs and a quantity of cash.
Charges against the accused include possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.
He was held in custody for a court appearance.
