The RNC has charged two men — ages 19 and 25 — in relation to a residential break and enter on Heatherton Place in St. John’s Oct. 15.
About 4 p.m. that day, RNC officers responded to a report of the break and enter.
The victims in the case sustained minor injuries during the incident.
Both accused are facing charges of break and enter, assault with a weapon and mischief.
They were released on conditions to appear in provincial court at a later date.
The victims and accused were known to each other.
The RNC is continuing to investigate these offences and is seeking the assistance of the general public.
