New Brunswick man dead in Lab City industrial accident

The RNC in Labrador City are investigating an industrial accident at an apartment building Friday that left a New Brunswick man dead.


At 4:30 p.m., RNC officers from patrol services and forensics identification, along with paramedics responded to a report of an industrial accident at the Embassy apartment building on Bartlett Drive, Labrador City.

The 45-year-old male man, a resident of New Brunswick, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details on the nature of the accident were released.

Next of kin of the deceased are being notified and out of respect to the family members, the RNC will not be releasing the name of the deceased at this time.

Police and Occupational Health and Safety investigators will be on scene Saturday morning to continue the probe into the accident.
