St. John’s workplace training company Bluedrop Performance Learning has shaken hands with The Boeing Co. on a contract valued at more than $1 million.
Bluedrop announced in a Wednesday news release that it will provide training courseware for the Canadian Forces’ CH-147 Chinook helicopter. More than 100 hours of training were put together by a team of instructional designers and experts.
“We are pleased to have supported Boeing with this air crew training program,” said Bluedrop CEO Emad Rizkalla. “This project required a fast turnaround time and I believe it demonstrates our world-class efficiency and capability in developing highly technical courseware.”
The agreement is expected to support at least 15 jobs in Atlantic Canada, the company said.
