RNC seeking help to identify armed robbery suspect

The RNC is requesting the public’s help in identifying a female suspect responsible for an armed robbery at the Esso Service Station on Torbay Road in St. John’s today.


About 3 p.m., the RNC responded to the call.

The female suspect, armed with a weapon, entered the store and demanded cash. She left the scene empty handed.

There were no injuries during the incident.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’5” tall, 120 pounds, with a thin build, and blonde hair. She was described as wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Anyone who has information that would assist in identifying the person responsible or anyone who may have any information in relation to this crime is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
