The RNC is investigating the sudden death of a 49-year-old man in shed in Mount Pearl that occurred in the early hours of Sunday.
Police note that it has been determined a "non-suspicious death," however, the investigation is still ongoing.
The RNC says that, about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, RNC officers and paramedics from Eastern Health responded to a call of an unconscious male in a shed at a residence in Mount Pearl. The man was later pronounced deceased at hospital.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
RNC officers have been obtaining statements from witnesses on the scene and the RNC is providing assistance to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to help establish the cause of death.
