There are only two sites where residents can drop off their old trees now:

• Quidi Vidi Lake, at the west parking lot off The Boulevard, near the Royal Canadian Legion. The site opened Sunday and will continue to accept trees until 10:30 p.m. Jan. 12.

• Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility at 340 East White Hills Rd. The site will accept tree from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Tuesday, Dec. 31, and Saturday,  Jan. 11.
