C.B.S. man facing drug-related charges

The RCMP charged a 38-year-old man from C.B.S. Wednesday with drug-related offences.


The arrest was made by members of RCMP Federal Policing Operations East after officers seized 6.62 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $60,000.

The charges against the accused include trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

The accused was released from custody to appear in provincial court at a later date.

    I haven't got the sweetest clue where the RNC figure $60,000. Maybe if they sell it one joint at a time for $10 each. 6.5lbs of grass isn't worth nearly that much. Hey RNC, why don't you pat yourself on the back for actually doing something to get the cocaine and pills off the street instead of clinging to the sinking ship that is small-time pot busts.
