RNC looking for suspect after snowmobile crashes into vehicle, fence in Labrador City

The RNC is Labrador City is looking for the operator of a snowmobile that collided with a vehicle on a street in the town Thursday afternoon, and later struck a residential fence and fled the area.


There were no injuries reported in either incident.

RNC officers later located the snowmobile which had been abandoned. The suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

The first report was received about 3:35 p.m. Thursday that a snowmobile had collided with a vehicle in the area of Stirling Crescent. The vehicle received extensive damage.

About an hour later, officers received the report that a snowmobile had collided with a fence on a residential property causing damage and the snowmobile had left the area of the collision. 

A description of the suspect involved and the snowmobile matched that of the individual responsible for the earlier collision involving the vehicle.
