Citizens' representative to hold information sessions in Labrador

The province's citizens’ representative Barry Fleming has announced he will hold information and intake sessions in Labrador Jan. 21–23.

In a news release, Fleming will be available for appointments at Happy Valley–Goose Bay on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; and on Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Hotel North II, 380 Hamilton River Road.

He will be inLabrador City on Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Two Seasons Hotel, 96 Avalon Dr. 

The Citizens’ Representative is an Officer of the House of Assembly and is independent of both the political process and government administration. 

The office can investigate and resolve complaints about provincial government departments and agencies, and recommend corrective action. Services are free and confidential.
