RNC seeking help in hit and run

The RNC is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a hit and run that took place in the Avalon Mall parking lot on Thursday, January 16.

At about 6:00 that evening a female was using the crosswalk at the entrance to Winner’s store when she was struck by a black sedan. The driver stopped but left before police arrived.

The vehicle in question is believed to be either a Honda or a Toyota. Also, the female indicated that the driver may be of Lebanese decent.

Police say there may have been damage to the front hood on the passenger’s side from the impact with the female pedestrian.

Several witnesses left prior to police arrival, along with the driver.
