Teen charged with break and entry in Mount Pearl

A 15-year-old boy was apprehended by police Wednesday night in Mount Pearl after officers chased him on foot and charged him with break and entry.


Around 11:10 p.m., Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers responded to a report of a person breaking into a home on Sunrise Avenue.


On arrival, the RNC said a suspect was seen running from the area.


Officers ran after the teen and charged him with break and entry, attempted break and entry, theft, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer and carrying a concealed weapon.


He was held in custody overnight until a court appearance.

    Just another young skeet in training. He failed at this B&E so it's a night in jail, a slap on the wrist and back on the street by the weekend to try it again. After all it's not his fault, not his parents fault... it's societies' fault for failing him!
