Labrador ferry back in service Wednesday

The MV Sir Robert Bond is set to resume providing ferry service between Blanc Sablon in Labrador and Corner Brook on Wednesday.

In a news release issued Tuesday afternoon, the Department of Transportation and Works said the ferry would commence its winter schedule by offering two round trips per week.

The vessel leaves Blanc Sablon on Wednesdays and Saturdays and departs from Corner Brook on Fridays and Mondays. The MV Sir Robert Bond was recently docked for maintenance.

In the same news release, government said the MV Apollo would come out of service on Tuesday after it completes its scheduled crossing between St. Barbe and Blanc Sablon.
