This camera footage was taken during an armed robbery on Jan. 29 at an Ultramar gas station on Kenmount Road in St. John's.
On Wednesday, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary released a video of the Jan. 29 robbery. It was at least the second time in just over a week that the Kenmount Road location was targeted for a robbery. An unarmed man left the business with cash on Jan. 20.
In the video released Wednesday, a man wearing a red hat, a light-coloured coat and dark pants is shown standing outside the doorway. He opens it to let his accomplice enter the building.
That man, whose face is obscured, walks up to the counter and appears to pull out his weapon along with a bag. Police said the man demanded cash and left the business with an undisclosed amount. There were no injuries resulting from the robbery, which happened shortly after midnight.
The video includes footage that appears to show the same two men at another business. The face of the man in dark clothing who went to the counter is not obscured in that footage.
