Darren Ivany and Laura-Marie Smith star in Rock Solid Productions’ version of “Here” at the Barbara Barrett Theatre in the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre Feb. 12-15. It’s the production company’s debut play.

Rock Solid Productions is presenting its debut performance, “Here,” by British playwright Michael Frayn, directed by Ruth Lawrence, at the Barbara Barrett Theatre Feb. 12-15.

The rarely performed play, first produced at London’s Covent Garden in 1993, is a story about a couple moving in together, and struggling to find out if they actually are compatible and continuously arguing about how they make decisions.

Featuring Laura-Marie Smith (Rock Solid’s artistic director), Darren Ivany and Irene Duma, “Here” will run nightly at 8 p.m., with a pay-what-you-can matinée at 2 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Tickets are $25 regular admission ($20 for seniors, students and artists) and are available at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre box office, by calling 729-3900 or online at www.artsandculturecentre.com.

Here did not debut at Covent Garden but at the Donmar Warehouse, which of course is located in the Covent Garden area.
