Snowmobiles collide in Labrador

 A snowmobile accident near Labrador West sent one man to hospital with serious injuries Saturday night.

RNC responded to a report that two snowmobiles had collided on a lake in the area of South Eastern Arm. A 32-year-old male was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but in stable condition.

The 23-year-old male driver of the other snowmobile was charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm and operating a motor vehicle over the legal limit causing bodily harm.

He was released to appear in court at a later date. The matter is still under investigation.
