The RNC says it charged the operator of an ATV with driving while prohibited in St. John’s on Friday.
About 4:15 p.m. that day, RNC officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Pippy Place and Kenmount Road in the city.
As a result, a 25-year-old man operating the ATV was charged with driving while prohibited and was issued several summary offence tickets for several offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused also had $25,000 in outstanding fines.
The accused was released to appear in court at a later date.
