Osmond pulls off impressive skate in Sochi

Kaetlyn Osmond just completed her free skate at the Sochi Olympics, scoring an impressive 112.8 to leave her in first place currently.

However, two-thirds of the ladies' field has yet to skate.

Osmond, originally from Marystown and now living in Edmonton, could be in a position to crack the top 10.

    Come home with your head high, young lady. You have done your family, your Province, and your country, and; most importantly, yourself proud. Terrific showing for a first-time Olympic competitor.

    Calvin, good point. Imagine how well she could have done if our provincial government ever gave her money to support her training over the years. To think they gave her absolutely nothing to assist her is ridiculous.

    To the editor's at the Telegram: Are you all simple?!?! This is the best picture you could find of this beautiful young woman? This a recurring theme with you crowd. No matter what the story or the content you pick the worst possible photo for story on the website. Would it kill you to try and do a sensible job for someone we are all very proud of?! For shame.
