Injured snowmobiler airlifted in Great Harbour Deep

A 45-year-old man from Lumsden was airlifted by the Department of National Defence Saturday night after being injured in a snowmobile accident in Great Harbour Deep.


According to the Deer Lake RCMP police received a report of a man injured near a lodge in the area late Saturday afternoon.

Several hours later, the man was airlifted to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for surgery.   

Police are continuing their investigation.
