There had always been a blank when it came to Robert’s memories around his childhood years of the early 1980s.
When Robert, not his real name, stopped drinking a few years ago, eventually those memories made their way back to the surface. First, he says came memories of sexual abuse, then of seeing the murder of 14-year-old St. John’s teenager Dana Bradley.
"And believe me, I've laid in bed and (asked myself) 'Did that really happen?' I tried to think it away, that maybe it didn't. But I can't. It's in me."
