The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Criminal Investigation Division is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying a person responsible for an armed robbery at the Irving service station on Frecker Drive in St. John’s.

RNC patrol officers, Police Dog Services and Forensic Identification Services responded to the call around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
The RNC said a lone female suspect armed with a weapon entered the store and demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing with an undisclosed amount. There were no injuries sustained during the offence.
The female suspect is described as approximately five feet, two inches to five feet, three inches in height, with slim build and short black hair.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was described as wearing a black jacket, black scarf, grey sweater and black ball cap.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate this armed robbery and is seeking the assistance of the general public in identifying the person responsible.
