Man arrested for impaired snowmobile driving

A 55-year-old man from Northwest River, Labrador, was arrested for impaired driving of a snowmobile in that community Wednesday night.


RCMP in Sheshatshiu conducted a traffic stop Wednesday night on a snowmobile travelling in North West River around 11:55 pm. 

According to the RCMP, the driver had more than three times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. 

He will be appearing in provincial court at Happy Valley/Goose Bay on May 13 to face charges of impaired driving and impaired driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.
