RNC seek public’s help in armed robbery investigation

The RNC is requesting the assistance of the general public in identifying the person responsible for an armed robbery at Needs Convenience on Barbour Drive in Mount Pearl Thursday.


About 4:20 p.m. that day, a male suspect armed with a weapon entered the store and demanded cigarettes before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount.

There were no injuries during the incident.

The male suspect is described as being approximately 5’6” – 5’ 8 tall and 140-160 pounds. The suspect is believed to be less than 20 years old. At the time of the offence the he was wearing a black jacket.
