If a man was indeed using a cellphone while driving Friday morning as accused by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, it was not worth the risk.

The driver’s vehicle was impounded after police pulled it over on Symonds Ave. in St. John's shortly before 11 a.m. He was stopped and ticketed for using a hand-held device while driving.

In addition to that offence, the RNC ticketed the man for driving while suspended, failing to transfer ownership, and operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance.

This Headline should be impounded, after reader catches writer for blatant sensationalism.
