Police arrested a female youth at a St. John’s hospital Thursday afternoon in response to an alleged disturbance.
The girl — described by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary as a “juvenile female” in its overnight report — was charged with assaulting a peace officer, common assault, and uttering threats. She is also accused of breaching several court orders.
Police were called to the hospital shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday to respond to a complaint. The girl was held overnight and due to appear in court Friday.
The age of the accused has not been released.
