Impaired drivers keep RNC on the move

Impaired drivers and a residential disturbance kept RNC members active overnight Friday. 

At 8:50 pm Friday night RNC officers received a report of an impaired driver heading west on Pitts Memorial Drive. The vehicle was located near Ruth Ave. and the 37 year old female operator was been charged with impaired.

Near midnight a motorist alerted police to a collision in the Donovan’s area. Officers located the vehicle involved on Sagona Avenue The 51 year old male driver was charged with failure to remain at the scene of a collision, impaired driving and refusing the breathalyzer. There were no injuries in the accident The male was released to appear in court.

 At 1:30 am officers were called to a disturbance at a residence in the center city area. A 49 year old male was arrested for causing a disturbance, obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest. The male was held for morning court.
