RNC seek public’s help in robbery investigation

The RNC is seeking the public’s help to identify those responsible for a robbery in the area of Blackhall residence on the campus of Memorial University on Sunday, March 30.

About 4:10 a.m. that day, a man was walking from the area of Barnes residence to the area of Blackhall residence when he was attacked from behind by three males. The males took the victim’s wallet which contained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim was not injured during the attack.

One male suspect is described as being 5”11”, skinny build, dark long hair, and was wearing blue jeans, dark-coloured hoodie and yellow sneakers.

The second male was described as being 5”10”, skinny build, short dark hair, wearing dark pants, red hoodie.

The third male suspect was described as having short light hair, wearing track pants and a dark hoodie.

The RNC is continuing to investigate and is seeking the assistance of the general public.
