According to a news release issued late this afternoon, the parking lot at the very top of Signal Hill will be closed to traffic from 6-9 a.m. Thursday. Parks Canada staff will remove the foxes at that time.

The Parks Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Twitter account (@ParksCanadaNL) posted two messages within the last few days asking visitors of the site not to feed the foxes.

Those looking to visit Signal Hill during those hours Thursday will be asked to use parking by the Visitor Centre. Parks Canada said a further update will be provided if the parking lot needs to remain closed beyond 9 a.m. Thursday.

I hope the foxes you are trapping do not have young foxes in their dens. You could be taking a mother fox away from her babies, and condemning the kits to a cruel death.
