Multiple moose-vehicle collisions in St. John’s metro area

Two moose-vehicle collisions in the St. John’s metro area Saturday night occurred minutes apart from one another.

According to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s overnight report, the accidents happened on the Outer Ring Road and the Torbay Bypass Road approximately 10 minutes apart.

Police said occupants of the vehicles received medical treatment and were released at both scenes. Wildlife officers were called in to remove the moose in each instance.
