"Your St. John’s — Our Story” will feature artworks in a variety of media, and a number of themes, from nature to architecture. The show is presented by the Historic Sites Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.

“The aim was to have an exhibition that told the story of our grand city, weaved together through individual perceptions,” said the association in a media release. “With almost 50 submissions, this exhibition completes a story for everybody to enjoy.”

The exhibit will open Thursday on the second floor of The Heritage Shop at 309 Water St., with a reception from

5 to 7 p.m. It will run Tuesdays to Saturdays until Aug. 29.
