Boy in hospital after bike collides with truck

A 12-year-old boy is in critical but stable condition at a hospital in Labrador City Wednesday following a collision involving his bike and a pickup truck.

A bicycle lies on the street, in front of a pickup truck, at the intersection of Bartlett Drive and Tamarack Drive at noon on Wednesday, June 18.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating the collision, which forced a section of Bartlett Drive to be closed off to traffic.

The accident happened shortly after noon on Wednesday at the intersection of Bartlett Drive and Tamarack Drive.
