Police in Labrador seized marijuana and a large amount of cash from a home in Natuashish Saturday and charged a man with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Natuashish RCMP seized these items from a home in the community on Saturday.

Almost 900 grams of marijuana was seized along with $22,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia. The search warrant was executed under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, according to an RCMP news release issued late Saturday night.

The 65-year-old suspect was released from custody. His case will come up in court this December.

Legalize it, tax it and put police resources towards real drugs. The province is overrun with coke and organized crime now and the police are useless.
