RNC charges man in connection with multiple frauds

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has arrested and charged a man in connection with numerous frauds committed in various areas throughout St. John’s and Mt. Pearl.


Fifty-three-year-old James Dwyer was arrested without incident and will face a total of 14 charges. The charges include fraud, driving while disqualified and various breaches of court orders.

Dwyer is also suspected in other investigations and could face additional charges. He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Friday.
