The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has confirmed the man reported missing earlier today was located and is safe.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating 30-year-old John McLean, who was reported missing this morning.
Police have determined he was last seen around 3:30 a.m. this morning in the LeMarchant Road area of St. John's.
McLean is described as being about five feet, seven inches tall, with average build with short dark hair and a receding hair line.
When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded jacket.
There are concerns for McLean's health as he is visually impaired and a severe diabetic. It is not believed that he has any of his required medication with him.
The RNC Major Crime Unit is asking anyone who has any information pertaining to the whereabouts of John McLean to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
