RNC seeks assistance in boat, trailer theft investigation

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is requesting the assistance of the public in providing information regarding a theft of a boat and trailer from the Foxtrap Marina in Conception Bay South.

The RNC received the complaint  around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. It has been determined that the boat and trailer were taken sometime between 6 a.m.

and 5p.m. that day.

The boat is described as being fibreglass, 19.5 feet in length, with a blue and white exterior and a white interior. It’s an open boat with no cabin and it has

railing around the front bow. On both sides of the front bow, there is a Canadian flag with the name ‘Julieanne’ underneath it.

The boat has a Yamaha 40-horsepower motor attached and was on a 2008 Karavan trailer (licence TZJ-038).
