Women charged after disturbance on flight

Two women were arrested Thursday at St. John’s International Airport for causing a disturbance on a flight, according to a news release from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC).

Flight attendants requested assistance from police. The RNC got the call at 3:35 p.m., and upon arrival, the women were charged with mischief under the Criminal Code of Canada and Aeronautics Act. They were both held in custody for court.
