Woman charged with multiple thefts

A woman who went on a bit of a shoplifting spree has been charged by police after being arrested Friday evening.

Just after 5:00 p.m. officers responded to a report of a theft at a business on Kenmount Road in St. John’s.  

A 31-year-old female that was being held by security after being caught shoplifting.  

She has since been charged with two counts of theft under $5000 after police determined that she was responsible for another theft earlier in the afternoon. 

She was released to appear in court at a later date.

    A woman who went on a bit of a shoplifting spree has been charged by police after being pretended Friday evening. Was this supposed to read "apprehended"?

      Spell check is awwsome, but only when you have the right word there to start with! Come on Telegram, you can do better. This is also almost the most vague story ever :-/
