The public is being warned that Bambi Land Inc. is illegally trading in securities and soliciting investment through social media and an ad in The Telegram.

Neither Bambi Land Inc., nor its owner, Israt Khan, has been registered under the Securities Act to trade in securities here.

“As they are unregistered entities, Bambi Land Inc. and Israt Khan are prohibited from acting, advertising, soliciting, conducting or negotiating directly or indirectly in furtherance of the trade of securities in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador,” reads a statement from ServiceNL.

Anyone who has already invested is asked to contact Service NL’s Financial Services Regulation Division at 709-729-2596.

The public is advised to do thorough research into investment opportunities before investing. Registrations can be checked online at www.securities-administrators.ca, and if a company or person is unregistered, people are asked to report them by emailing servicenlinfo@gov.nl.ca or by calling the Financial Services Regulation Division at 709-729-2596.
