Alarm at Kenmount Road business leads to arrest for break and enter

A man has been arrested after police responded to an alarm going off early Sunday morning at a business on Kenmount Road in St. John’s.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to the alarm at 4:53 a.m. and wound up taking a 44-year-old man into custody. He is accused of break and enter, possession of break-in instruments and breaching a court order. He will appear in court this morning.

The police report does not mention which business was targeted.
