Well, well - isn't life just like fiction! My recent book is a polar bear attack thriller that features Fogo and other northern Newfoundland communities, including St. Anthony. It's called "EATEN: A novel" - and it takes place in early March 2025. See interview in the Northern Pen: http://www.northernpen.ca/living/2016/1/25/a-northern-peninsula-thriller.html

Where did it come from-is there northern ice there now flowing southward already? We don't hear of this until spring usually.
