Snowmobile accident puts teenager in hospital

A teenager is in hospital following a collision between a car and a snowmobile.

RCMP from both Flower's Cove and Port Saunders are currently investigating the accident which occurred near the community of Anchor Point this afternoon.  

A 13 year old male was transported to St. Anthony Hospital. Police have not disclosed the extent of his injuries.

A portion of Highway 430 will remain closed until Friday morning.

Traffic is being rerouted through Anchor Point while police continue to investigate.

    Thought you had to be 16 to operate skidoo? If so guess parent's are up on charges! Well they should be. Skidoo's are too fast these day's for someone that age!!
