There was a time in our province when one would never hear of a child being missing for even a day. Now we hear of children going missing on a weekly basis for days. What is going on? Would it have anything to do with families being apart for weeks on end, with one or the other of the parents having to travel for work commitments in other parts of Canada? Why weren't our politicians smart enough to have seen to it that our well endowed natural resource base we held in our province was developed and processed right here to ensure families were together to share the responsibility of child rearing? I know there are other reasons other than families being apart for work that cause family strife, but the question I just asked needed to be posed.
