RCMP in Clarenville have made two arrests for impaired driving over the weekend.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m. on March 25, members conducted a traffic stop in the town of Clarenville.
A 40 year old male was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Subsequent investigation found his blood alcohol level was over the legal limit.
In addition to the impaired driving charges he will also have to answer to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
He appears in court next month.
On March 26 just before midnight, as the result of a traffic stop in the community of Bloomfield, a 61 year old male was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
This driver also provided breath samples and had a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
He will also face charges of failing to comply with a probation order and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
