The annual conference hosted by Newfoundland and Labrador’s oil and gas industries association — Noia — has become the premiere gathering for discussion of oil and gas work offshore eastern Canada.
The 2013 Noia conference, with main events June 17-20, maintained the event’s reputation as a place for major local players to offer big announcements, to a small province heavily reliant on oil revenues.

The Muskrat Falls project has become one of the most controversial topics in Newfoundland and Labrador since the Upper Churchil hydroelectric deal was negotiated with Quebec during the Joseph R.
