Woman pleads guilty in home invasion case

A 66-year-old woman charged after the Sept. 10-11, 2009 assault and robbery of an 88-year-old man in Horwood changed her plea to guilty this morning in Gander provincial court.
Trudy Pryor was charged with break and enter and committing an offence, assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, robbery and wilfully committing indecent acts.
She'll be back in court June 16 for sentencing.
Wade Kenneth Arthur Manuel, 28, was also charged in the same incident with break and enter and committing an offence, break and enter with intent, two counts of assault with a weapon, assault, being unlawfully in a house and robbery.
Manuel pleaded not guilty to all charges last month. His trial will be held in Supreme Court June 22-25.
