Edmonton -

Edmonton police have arrested two men in connection with the murder of Apichat Sudsaneh, a 37-year-old welder who attempted to intervene in a random attack.
In addition to the arrests, police are searching for five other suspects, two males and three females.
Early Sunday morning, Sudsaneh was stabbed to death when he tried to help two friends being mugged by a larger group of people.
Sudsaneh regularly sent money home to his native Thailand to support a large, extended family, friends have said.
The night he was killed, Sudsaneh was celebrating the fact that he would be able to make his first visit home since he came to Canada two years ago.
Michael John Stewart, 21, of no fixed address has been charged with second-degree murder, robbery, possession of a weapon and three breaches or recognizance from Newfoundland.
Kyle Anthony Brooks, 18, also of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery and assault.
