The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has released a video of an armed robbery in hopes someone may come forward with information to help police identify the suspect.
Just before 11 p.m. Thursday, police were called to Marie's Mini Mart on Crosbie Road in St. John's.
A man wearing a grey bandana over his face and armed with a crowbar had stolen an unknown quantity of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the store.
The suspect is described as about five-feet eight-inches tall, 175 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion.
The suspect is believed to be in his 20's and was wearing a black hoodie, a dark-coloured baseball cap, and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
Anyone who can identify the person responsible, or anyone who may have any information in relation to this crime, is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can provide information on the NL Crime Stoppers website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
